Twahirwa Ritah from Ntungamo District is the new Miss Tourism Ankole Region
The search for the most beautiful girl to represent Ankole region in
the 2016 Miss Tourism pageant finally came to an end with 22-year-old
Twahirwa Ritah crowned winner at the event held at Club Vegas in Mbarara
on Wednesday night.
Twahirwa Ritah from Ntungamo District is a graduate of Business
Computing from Makerere University Business School (MUBS), was crowned
winner out of the 8 girls who had managed to get to the finals. She was
followed by Tugaineyo Noreen, a 20-Year-Old student from Kiruhura
District and Ahumuza Fortunate, 21, from Mbarara, leaving the remaining 5
girls weeping and mending their broken hearts.
The search which has been touring all regions of Uganda is aimed at
getting the best three girls to become the face of Ugandan tourism and
culture.
